3D Animation - You've Got Box.

This is my Delta Film & Animation FYP.

The story is about The main character, Oddy was too addicted to TV until he abandoned his own interest- gardening and his daisy.

Done in Autodesk Maya 2008, Adobe After Effects CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Adobe Premiere CS3.

Character Designs - Oddy.

Oddy is the one and the only one character in the animation " You've Got Box". This is the developement for this character.

my initial plan is make him a human character but this plan is rejected xD

So I try to design an animal character. Got rejected too.

I decided to make my character an Orang Utan. This plan was accepted. Thus, I proceeded and made a final design for it :)

3D Animation- The Prisoner.

This is my 3D character animation for Gamma 3rd sem.

We are required to choose one of the given dialogue audio file and create an animation of two characters interacing with each other(based on the dialogue). This animation is more challenging as I have to choose nice camera shot, explore facial expression and lip sync.

Done in Autodesk Maya 2008.

My story is about based on the 2 main characters - Dr.V (a General professor) and Toi ( the prisoner). Both of them communicate well with each other until Toi said something which annoyed Dr.V.

VFX - Attack of The Sock Monster.

This is a group assignment on Digital Visual Effects(DVE)subject. We had to shoot a real video footage (of persons/objects), then create an 3D background or elements to blend with it. We learnt compositing of 3D environment + real video footage, and we need to make sure it looks real and believeable.

I had lotsa fun shooting Ah Pet (the sock monster) in the greenscreen studio. I got to learn about rotoscoping skills in After Effects too.

3D Animation- Character Animation.

This is my Gamma 2nd Sem Final Character Animation. We are given a character model and asked to bring life to him by creating character personality on him.

The themes that I choose are

1. A woman's reaction to a pregnancy test result (Character Personality : Surprised)

2. A person robbing a bank in a hurry to get it over with (Character Personality : Soft & Feminine)

It's pretty fun working on this project, because acting skills are needed. We needed to animate based on self recorded actions.

Done in Alias Maya 8.5.

3D animation - Just One Kick.

This is my 2nd 3D animation. It's an assignment from the subject Computer Modelling & Animation in Gamma 2nd Sem. The requirement is similar to my previous animation- Interaction between a character and an object.

3D animation - Bandidito and the Box.

This is my 1st 3D character animation in Gamma Sem 1. We need to create a character interacting with an object.

Its a pretty interesting experiences for me.

Advertisement Design :)

This is a group project from the subject Creative Communication (Beta 3rd Sem) We were required to improve a campaign or advertisement of a product or service. Our group took Dutch Lady’s advertisement from the newspaper. I'm incharged for desgining a improved version of the advertisement.

MTV Production- Penny Tai.

Its a group work for our Video Post Production subject in Beta 3rd sem. We created a mtv based on local singer Penny Tai's song- Once Fell In Love.

2D Animation - Pirates Takoyaki.

A 2D animation (TV ad- promoting Japanese Food Takoyaki.) by me and coursemates. Beta year 3rd sem assignment.

I'm in charge of animating part(character and background) and all done by using Adobe Macromedia Flash.

2D Animation - A Simple Walk Cycle.

This is my beta 2nd sem Assignment.

I created a 2D simple walk cycle and match it with still shot and panning shot.

Stopmotion - Bing Bong Biang.

This is my very 1st stopmotion animation. A short one. I try to test the interactions between the hand and the character- pippo.

Its quite fun during the production process.
